Role: Director - Principal Consultant

Stephen is a director of the company and also fulfills the role of principal consultant. He has considerable experience across a range of roles in the acquisition, development and delivery of information systems.

Ribtex embarked on the development of an IT Strategy and engaged Stephen to plan and manage this process. Stephen organised and facilitated the workshops with senior business executives, and coordinated the delivery of the final strategy report. Stephen was subsequently further engaged to manage and deliver several initiatives arising from this activity, including:

  • Upgrade of the existing IT infrastructure environment, including server consolidation, networking, firewalls, VPN’s and associated security services.
  • Implementation of EDI with one of Ribtex major suppliers.
  • Developing training and support programs for internal IT and non-IT staff.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with external IT suppliers to provide products and services.

Stephen has managed a succession of consulting engagements to develop and implement the SRO CICAP (payroll tax compliance enhancement) system.

Duties:

  • Establishment of an integrated data repository for data from a diversity of internal and external sources.
  • Preparation and deliver of user training.
  • Preparation of system documentation.
  • Development and implementation of data scrubbing sub-systems.
  • Data analysis directed to identifying entities potentially being at risk of non-compliance
  • Delivery of custom reporting and analysis software.
  • Contractual negotiations with other government departments

Development and subsequent sale of Australian Company Navigator (ACNav) services and software, a proprietary enquiry and analysis tool applied to Australian company data. This involved:
